This CD unites two of the best-known and beloved orchestral works of the Russian master Piotr Ilitch Tchaikovsky (1840-1893). Talented pianist Arkady Sevidov, who is a musician with a wide range of interests, belongs to the middle generation of Russian virtuosos and displays a large repertoire and enormous ability. He is a passionate interpreter of chamber music of all kinds, a keen accompanist for singers, and an enthusiastic teacher who is highly admired by his students. Sevidov has been giving concerts abroad for several years. Concert tours lead him to all the great music centers in Eastern and Western Europe, Japan, and the US, as well as to Cuba and India.
