Notes & Reviews:

"This is the fastest 'Erocia' I have ever heard - about 42 minutes... It works for me. As Chrisphe Huss says in the notes, "It is astoundingly clear and convincing; I have never heard it like this." Sonics are excellent, as is the orchestral execution. It is fast taut and exciting, and Jaarvi observes the repeat. Later movements are also swift, but are just as excellent. Note particularly the horn trio of the Scherzo - loud, joyous, and with wonderful thrust and virtuosity. The clarity of the sonics and the orchestra's excellence allowed me to hear details in IV that I was not aware of, after many years of listening to this masterpiece." -American Record Guide
