Notes & Reviews:
In the past, arrangements for small ensemble of larger pieces were common for the widest possible use by consumers. "I'm as happy as a snow king... the Trios give me extraordinary pleasure!" Brahms responded to his friend Theodore Kirchener's arrangements of the Sextets. No doubt he would have responded in kind to the performances by the Trio Viennarte, founded in 1996.
