Pianist John F. Strauss is Professor of Music at Luther College (Iowa, USA) where he has taught since 1975. He is a founding member of the Oneota Chamber Players and the author of numerous historical articles about music. He and his wife, violinist Virginia Fattaruso Strauss, edit early nineteenth century concertos and chamber music for Musikhaus Doblinger and H. Anderle Verlag and maintain a second residence in Vienna, Austria.
