Notes & Reviews:

The Swiss composer Thomas Fortmann is a product of modern times - a former pop and rock musician with many youthful hits who "converted" to classical music in his late 20s. His work employs a personalized 12-tone technique with influences from the cabaret songs of Kurt Weill. Fortmann is also the founder of Accademia Amiata, whose members perform on this CD.
