Notes & Reviews:
Epiphany (January 6) is the "twelfth day of Christmas" and celebrates the arrival of the Three Kings from the East. In many cultures, Epiphany is a bigger holiday than Christmas. Along with hymns and anthems for the season of Epiphany, this disc features organ and choral music from Marenzio, Buxtehude, and Mendelssohn as well as 20th-century composers Peter Hallock, Ludwig Lenel, Helmut Walcha, and Healey Willan. Features the famous Flentrop organ of St. Mark’s Cathedral (Seattle).
