Notes & Reviews:
The Swiss composer Daetwyler may have been conservative in style, but he was highly original in his concepts (having composed a Requiem for the Atomic Ages and a Ski Symphony) and unusual instrumental combinations (as in Dialogue Concertante for Trombone and Harp). This centenary compilation presents some delightful chamber works, many of which were written for close friends and associates.
