Notes & Reviews:

The music on this disc represents some of the best of the "French Organ School," a name given to that explosion of organ improvisation and composition beginning in the mid 19th century and carrying throughout the 20th century to at least the death of Olivier Messiaen. Kevin Clarke is a graduate of the New England Conservatory. In his current position as organist and choirmaster at the Church of the Incarnation, he has built an extensive music program. He is also a composer and concert organist. And is in great demand as a conductor and lecturer.
