Notes & Reviews:

The French violinist Janine Andrade (b. 1918) won a First Prize at the Paris Conservatoire when only 12. Having studied with Carl Flesch and Jacques Thibaud, she embarked on an international career that took her throughout Europe, the United States and Africa. This release, part of Berlin Classics' Kurt Masur series, allows us a chance to hear this rarely recorded soloist in exceptional performances of the Mozart Concertos.
