Notes & Reviews:

Two of Dvorak's most popular pieces of chamber music - both in ebullient performances anchored by Glenn Dicterow and cellist James Kreger, recorded with pianist David Golub in concert at the Marlboro Music Festival, and in a studio recording with violinist Karen Dreyfus and pianist Gerald Robbins. The intimate and passionate 1970 reading of the F minor trio captures these artists as young virtuosi, and is a fine example of the elevated level of performances of Dvorak and Brahms, a hallmark of the Marlboro Music Festival during the Serkin/Casals era.
