Notes & Reviews:

The concept behind this disc is so logical, but no one thought of it before! Here are exciting, unfamiliar works inspired by the famous Bartok Sonata, a work that revealed that the piano is, indeed, a member of the percussion family. The composers, from Bulgaria, Israel, Poland and Armenia, draw upon national influences to produce works full of color and energy, in a recording of demonstration quality.
