Goran Marcusson began playing the flute at the Municipal School in Sodertalje, Sweden. After studying musicology at Stockholm University, he was accepted as a flute student in the performances program at the School of Music of the University of Goteberg. He has since become one of Scandinavia's most renowned soloists, having won a number of prizes in international competitions.
