Notes & Reviews:

Lance Hulme's music reflects the ambience and musical approach of the North American musical tradition. There is compositional eclecticism, a playful and uninhibited attitude with tradition and a crossover between "serious" and vernacular music. All these elements are to be found in his music as well as more advanced structural and aural techniques. His music has received awards from the International Witold Lutoslawski Competition and ASCAP and has been performed by ensembles and orchestras throughout the United States and Europe.
