Album Summary
Performer
Geoffrey Coffin (Organ)
Notes & Reviews:
These are two more in the wonderful series of Alpha recordings of choral and organ music produced by the late, beloved Harry Mudd. His recordings of the Anglican church repertoire were famous among record collectors and tourists alike and the LPs he issued were from most of the famous cathedrals in the United Kingdom. He died in 2004 and left a fantastic legacy of recorded music that only now, through the auspices of Priory, is being issued on CD. In more than 25 years since these two recordings were released the two choirs have gained even more acclaim and importance; as have the reputations of Noel Rawthorne and Francis Jackson.
