Mozart enthusiasts, take heart! Despite earlier news to the contrary, this award-winning series is far from over and will now encompass eight volumes, instead of the previously announced four. Violin phenom, Rachel Podger and fortepiano wiz Gary Cooper continue to wow the world with their "infectious charm" (BBC Music Magazine) coupled with "fresh, thoroughly accomplished and well recorded performances" (Gramophone) on period instruments. Volume 5 features a modern-day copy of a 1795 Anton Walter keyboard and a 1739 Pesarinius violin. Thus far, every one of the prior installments has received fantastic press and multiple awards.
