These selections not only give a broad overview of Brahms' piano works but also show off the marvelous musical qualities of the Bulgarian pianist Ivo Varbanov. He currently lives in England and performs throughout Europe. He completed his musical studies in Milan, with additional studies at the Royal Academy of Music in Great Britain, and has participated in the master classes of, among others, Barry Douglas and Peter Katin. A highly sought-after performer, he has appeared at London's Wigmore Hall, New York's Carnegie Hall and Philharmonic Hall in St. Petersburg. Upcoming engagements include concerts in France, Spain, Italy, Poland and Russia.
