Notes & Reviews:

This fine release focuses on the artistry of the German pianist/organist Amadeus Webersinke (1920-2005). He first distinguished himself in 1950 when he won, along with Karl Richter, the First Prize for Organ at the Leipzig J.S. Bach Competition. From 1953 he performed exclusively as a pianist, and was a highly respected teacher at the Dresden Musikhochschule in his later life.
