Notes & Reviews:

His teacher Hans Rudolf Stalder from the Basel Academy of Music introduced Pierre-Andre Taillard to the historical clarinet, enabling him to work with renowned ensembles. Taillard has dedicated himself to the solo repertoire and chamber music in particular. Since 2000, he has been one half of an active duo with Edoardo Torbianelli, playing mainly historical but also modern instruments. Among the recordings of Pierre-Andre Taillard, his interpretation of Mozart's Concerto with the Cologne Concerto Orchestra and that of Weber's Grand Duo Concertant with Edoardo Torbianelli have been highly regarded by the critics.
