Notes & Reviews:

This is the first commercial CD of the virtuoso husband-and-wife piano duo, Ralph and Albertine Votapek. The two pianists met at the Juilliard School of Music while students of the famed Rosina Lhevinne almost 40 years ago. Since then they have played countless recitals and concerto performances all over the world, and have appeared on TV and radio broadcasts. This disc contains some of the most beloved works for piano four-hands and two pianos, including Pablo Ziegler's brilliant arrangements of Astor Piazzolla's tangos.
