Notes & Reviews:

This 15-disc set commemorates the virtuoso singer's 75th birthday in 2008. Winner of the 'Gramophone's 2008 Lifetime Achievement Award', Caballe personally selected the repertoire in the set, which captures all aspects of her unique career: famous Italian arias and rarities, Zarzuela arias, German Lied repertoire (Strauss recital) as well as complete operas (Bellini's 'Norma' and Strauss' 'Salome').
