Alexei Orlovetsky performs this program on a grand piano made by Sebastien Erard. The piano was made in London in the mid-19th century. The exact year is impossible to determine as the documents at the London branch of the company were destroyed. Orlovetsky was a prize-winner at both the Liszt International Piano Competition and the Jose Iturbi International Piano Competitions in 1989.
