Stephen Stirling, the horn player on this recording, enjoys an international reputation as a chamber musician and has many acclaimed recordings to his credit. He is a professor at Trinity College of Music London, on the faculty of the Yellowbarn Summer School in Vermont, Chamber Music International and a participant at the Darlington International Summer School. He is also a founding member of Fibonacci, the ensemble that accompanies him for the recording.
