Like its predecessor, THE CREEP, THE BOG features a single extended track by the experimental duo Slomo. Holy McGrail and Howard Marsden layer vintage synthesizers, effect-laden guitar drones, and found sounds (the liner notes credit the pair with "clatter" and "hiss," respectively) into a maelstrom alternating between placidity and howling inchoate fury. Special guest Julian Cope reads a short poem near the end.
