Armene Stakian obtained a Premier Prix de Virtuosite from the Geneva Conservatoire followed by a Premier Prix and Diplome Superieur from the Conservatoire Royal de Musique de Bruxelles. Her collaborator on this program of music arranged for violin and guitar is Miguel Charosky, an Argentinian who graduated from the conservatory in Buenos Aires and later studied in Cologne. He was a prizewinner in the International Competitions of Geneva and Munich and won first prize in the Andres Segovia International Competition in 1982.
