Recorded Live at Wigmore Hall, 18 October 2007, this new release adds to Gerald Finley’s already illustrious career. After his initial appearances at Glyndebourne in the Mozart baritone repertoire, he now appears in a variety of leading roles at the world’s opera houses. With Hyperion Records his releases include a highly acclaimed disc of Ives and Barber songs with Julius Drake. He was awarded the Editor’s Choice Award at the 2006 Classic FM Gramophone Awards following his nomination as Artist of the Year. He will appear with the New York Metropolitan Opera and the Atlanta Symphony in performances of John Adams’ opera ‘Doctor Atomic’.
