Notes & Reviews:
Very little is known about Carlo Graziani, although he established himself in Paris in 1747 until 1762 when it became necessary to support himself as a cello virtuoso, playing in several European capitals. He crossed paths with Mozart in London, then went to Frankfurt, and Berlin where he became the first cellist in the court orchestra. These six sonatas display Graziani's characteristic freshness and rich melodic resources.
