Album Summary
Performers
Yehudi Menuhin (Violin)
Hephzibah Menuhin (Piano)
Maurice Gendron (Cello)
Notes & Reviews:
Menuhin never recorded Beethoven's 'Triple Concerto', so this is a first and an addition to his extensive discography. The concert given at the 1964 Bath Festival brings together Menuhin's sister, Hephizibah as well as the distinguished cellist, Maurice Gendron. Istvan Kertesz conducts the Brahms and Beethoven with tremendous fire, two works he had never recorded before commercially.
