Notes & Reviews:
Mozart was not an advocate of the clarinet and he had to be specifically commissioned to compose this clarinet concerto. The Concerto for Flute & Harp was commissioned as an "easy and simple" work in the key of C for amateurs, in this case the Duke of Guines and his daughter the Duchess.
