Notes & Reviews:

BBC Music Magazine
Philippe Herreweghe and the Royal Flemish Philharmonic produce some really fine playing here, and they have been quite beautifully recorded.

Gramophone Magazine
Beethoven always knew what he wanted in terms of pacing. Herreweghe and his expert band not only obey his tempi, they do so most artistically as well. Excellent indeed.
