Pianist, composer and conductor Fritz Brun was born in Lucerne in 1878. He was appointed conductor of the Berner Musikgelsellschaft as well as two choirs and for three decades shaped musical life in Berne. Taken from the archives of the Central Library in Zurich, these performances come from recordings made in 1946.
