Notes & Reviews:

Now in his seventh season as music director of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Robert Spano is recognized internationally as one of the most imaginative conductors of his generation. He was recently honored as 2008's Conductor of the Year by Musical America. He has energized the orchestra's programming, explored new concert formats, and invigorated its commissioning program with new works from Higdon, Christopher Theofanidis, David del Tredici and Michael Gandolfi - all of which have been recorded by Telarc.
