Notes & Reviews:

At age sixteen, violinist, Caroline Goulding has won the coveted first prize of the Aspen Music Festival's Concerto Competition (at age thirteen) and has appeared on NBC's Today Show, the Martha show hosted by Martha Stewart and been featured on National Public Radio's 'From The Top' as well as 'From the Top: Live at Carnegie' on PBS Television. Here Caroline Goulding joins forces with pianist and 'From the Top' impresario Christopher O'Riley in her debut album to be released on Telarc on August 25th. In this recital program Caroline performs several works by American composers, composers writing in this country, and pieces inspired by uniquely American idioms.

"Goulding is only 16 years old, but she sounds to me like she is already a finished violinist. When listening to this, I thought she must be in her 20s. Then I visited Telarc's website and was shocked to find that I was listening to a kid. I can find no weakness in technique, temperament, or intellectuals grasp of the music... I can't wait to hear more from her." -American Record Guide
