Someone Talked! - Memories of WWII / William Bolcom, Robert White, Joan Morris

Album Summary

Performers Composers

Notes & Reviews:

The pure joy of collaboration overflows with pride and respect for the deeper purpose of honoring those who sacrificed to preserve the essence of democracy during those turbulent years of World War II. The Pulitzer Prize winning composer, William Bolcom, tickles the ivories as mezzo-soprano, Joan Morris swoons, and tenor, Robert White, croons (and on two occasions, whistles) 19 memorable songs composed between 1941 - 1945. All of these works are beautifully stitched together with 20 meaningfully delivered narrations.
