Notes & Reviews:
Hanssler is proud to announce the latest entry to the Fritz Wunderlich discography. Wunderlich was the ideal tenor; his voice had an unmistakable sheen and a powerful radiance that breathed life into each and every performance. This recording, dating from March 5, 1964, is one the most beautiful "Mullerin" cycles ever recorded, and one to be treasured by all fans of the great Fritz Wunderlich.
BBC Music Magazine
The career of the eternally ardent and fresh-voiced Fritz Wunderlich was tragically foreshortened by a fatal domestic accident. All the more reason to cherish this 1964 Schöne Müllerin.
