Notes & Reviews:

A unique mixture of vivacious playing and lyrical talent makes Mihaela Ursuleasa one of the most remarkable pianists of her generation. Her debut recording, which brings the listener from past to present while highlighting her Romanian roots, is an outstanding adventure! Born in Brasov, Romania in 1978, Ursuleasa's career began when she was still a child. Following Claudio Abbado's advice, she stopped giving concerts in 1990 to concentrate on her musical and pianistic training. Ursuleasa was rewarded for her discipline in 1995, when she won the prestigious Clara Haskil Competition.
