Notes & Reviews:

The Seeds of Love tells a story---taken from diaries, letters, and writings---of the early 20th-century collectors of English folk songs. The program begins with the formation of the Folk-Song Society in 1898 and ends with the death of Cecil Sharp in 1924. It is illustrated by some of the folk songs, performed either as arranged by the collectors, or in Opus Anglicanum's arrangements, or as they were originally discovered.
