Notes & Reviews:

Count Guido Pietro Deiro was, without a doubt, the first star of the piano-accordion, a small instrument belonging to the organ family. Born in Italy, he immigrated to the United States in 1908 and became a vaudeville headlinere in 1910. In a career of many firsts, he became one of the highest paid entertainers in his field and an entertainment trailblazer - as well as the husband of Mae West. This is the first volume in what will be a complete series of his original recordings.
