Notes & Reviews:

This is the first modern recording of the complete solo piano by Jiolivet, the Concerto for piano and orchestra. It immerses us with happiness in Jolivet's orchestral colors.

Jolivet's Piano Sonata, composed in 1945 "in memory of Béla Bartok" serves as a tribute to the composer. However, those looking for obvious references to the Hungarian maestro will be disappointed, as there are no traditional folk airs or conspicuous quotations to be heard in this work that deliberately avoids all that is picturesque and illustrative.

American Record Guide, November/December 2013
The orchestra is faultless and Gallet is an astounding pianist, so if you want Jolivet, you'll be quite happy. As for me and my house, we will pass on it. Notes in English and French.
