Notes & Reviews:

Chamber music was never the main focus of Jón Leif ' s compositional activity. The ideal venue for his often rough and primitive music was the large concert hall. And his "instrument" was the symphony orchestra, enlarged by a unique assembly of rare percussion instruments.
