Notes & Reviews:

Jenner was the one and only composition scholar of Brahms. This recording presents a world premiere interpretation of the Jenner violin sonatas. Violinists Rainer Schmidt and Saiko Sasaki have shared a successful musical partnership for many years. Schmidt is an internationally known member of the Hagen Quartett (1987). Together, these fine musicians take their listeners on a journey of discovering new fields of music and sound.

American Record Guide
The influence of Brahms is everywhere in these works. The melodic material is unique and original... fine music that is extremely well played...
