Notes & Reviews:

If you enjoy your music tonal, well crafted with memorable tunes, then the music of Hayden Wayne is for you. Wayne began studying piano at the age of four, at five played the tenor drum in the orchestra pit of The King and I which his father was conducting, and performed his first composition in concert at the age of eleven. The Rosenberger Variations use the Bach Goldberg Variations as a model with the main theme at the beginning and the end bracketing the interior variations. The variations were written in 1998 in Nuzerov, a village just outside Susice in Sumava, the Czech Republic. Wayne composed his string quartet The Romantic right after he completed The Rosenberger Variations. The Wallinger String Quartet, one of the most accomplished young ensembles from the Moravian region of the Czech Republic, originally came together in 1986 at the Brno Conservatory, and became a professional adjunct to the Brno State Philharmonic Orchestra
