Performer Composers

Notes & Reviews:

Tenebrae is a professional chamber choir, founded by Nigel Short in 2001. Often performing by candlelight, the choir creates an atmosphere of spiritual and musical reflection, where medieval chant and renaissance works are interspersed with contemporary compositions. The carefully selected team of singers uses the acoustic and atmosphere of their performance spaces to enable the audience to experience the power and intimacy of the human voice.

Notes & Reviews:

Recording information: St. Bartholomew the Great, West Smithfield, London, Eng (06/22/2009-06/26/2009).
