Notes & Reviews:

Alma Mater is a highly emotional collection of eight original pieces of modern classical music. This release marks the first time the voice of Pope Benedict XVI has been captured on disc, speaking and singing in Latin, Italian, Portuguese, French and German. This album is sure to reach beyond the catholic community becoming a musical and historical experience for the masses. Pope Benedict XVI is accompanied by The Choir of the Philharmonic Academy of Rome. The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra plays on all of the contemporary tracks, and was recorded at Abbey Road studios in London.

The incredible new release, featuring just the music and pope benedict xvi
