Sebastien Singer's playing is described as having Russian technique and French charm. He is the cellist for the Schweizer Klaviertrio, which won first prize at the international competition in Caltanissetta and first prize at the Brahms International Competition. He served as solo cellist with the Nouvel Ensemble Contemporain for 10 years.
