Album Summary
Performers
Scott Mitchell (Piano)
Jennifer Stinton (Flute)
Notes & Reviews:
Jenifer Stinton is a highly sought after flutist based in the UK. These recordings were released on Collins Classics to great acclaim and form a neat summary of early 19th Century standard flute repertoire. Poulenc is a crisp yet sensitive performance of a work which has a catchy and heartfelt memorability. The Prokofiev is a sunny and substantial piece while the Martinu is also a work of considerable interest and charm.
Notes & Reviews:Recording information: Snape Maltings (10/1989).
