Reviews

How can I put this nicely?
I listened to this disc so you don't have to. It's not especially well sung (the altos are particularly weak), and it's badly edited (one track begins midway through the tenors singing the initial "B" of "Benedicam"). It's hard to believe this is a digital recording, less than twenty years old: so murky is the choral sound, I defy you to ascertain a word that's being performed without recourse to the booklet...and even then it's not always easy. Worse, said booklet has no English version of anything that's sung, only the liner notes. At 48 minutes, this is not a very good value for a full price album, either. The Singer Pur disc of di Lasso (from the same label!) is far better. You don't want to buy this CD.
