Album Summary

Conductor Ensemble

Notes & Reviews:

In 1893 Mahler restored his First Symphony. The movement called "Blumine" was put back in, and the Symphony got the nickname "Titan". This version of the First Symphony is performed here in a lively, deeply musical, and powerful performance by the Netherlands Symphony Orchestra with conductor Jan Willem de Vriend.

Import Hybrid-SACD pressing.
