Beautiful music, glorious interpretation

These are beautiful, personal, and heartfelt compositions that require an interpreter whose first language is Russian. Hvorostovsky captures it all with an emotional pathos that is breathtaking. The music brings out the sadness and pathos that so represents Pushkin, and Hvorostovsky responds with a familiarity with it all.
