Notes & Reviews:

As Michael Korstick's standard-setting Beethoven cycle slowly but surely approaches completion, this recording demonstrates another main emphasis of the artist's musical spectrum. One could name this Schumann program "Florestan and Eusebius", and this would not only refer to the duality of the two fictitious characters in "Carnaval", but also to the opposite poles in which "Kreisleriana" moves.
