This Everest audiophile classic was recorded by Burt Whyte at London's Walthamstow Assembly Hall using 35mm film. Remastered for Classic Records by Len Horowitz and Bernie Grundman, it includes both a standard CD and a dual sided DAD 24/96 - HDAD 24/192 combo disc. Sir Malcolm Sargent is featured here with music by Mussorgsky. Sargent had a real feel for Russian orchestral music and these sets offer performances that rival any put on disc.
